About Binita
I'm an engineer by background, a consultant by weekday, a tutor by weekend, and a foodie by nights! I love working with various people as I focus on teaching Math, Spanish, and test prep (ACT/SAT/GED) which includes test-taking skills and overall practice for standardized exams. In my career as a teacher, I have worked in class, group, and individual settings both in the US as well as in Latin America. It's an amazing opportunity to continue to grow my student base and share my experiences amongst my students.

I have a need to make my classes interactive, so I usually start with a warm-up and then focus on practice problems and study tips throughout our lesson. We can look at reinforcing the understanding of certain topics, tips to answer particular questions in a test-taking setting, or tactics to really remember material. By the end of the lesson, in order to avoid burn-out, I like to do a quick review and end on a high note with music or something else fun!

My rates are extremely flexible and dependent upon various factors such as the student's location, available materials, and financial ability. I don't want cost to ever affect a student's opportunity to receive the support he/she needs in education.
