About Speare
I am a passionate teacher and mother of three teenagers. I love the outdoors and the Sunny Coast lifestyle. My fascination with the origins of the English language, and the works of the greatest playwright who ever lived, William Shakespeare, is the inspiration of my interest in the subject. English used well has power to transform, elevate and impact. I am keen to help anyone learn how to improve their skills in the most widely used and powerful language on the planet. I am flexible in my approach and can adapt to individual needs.

As an experienced Secondary English Teacher with a Bachelor of Education and 20+ years of experience as a classroom teacher, I have an understanding of assessment and teacher expectations at High School. My main clients are Secondary School - aged students. However, I am also happy to work with upper primary and adults. My lessons are for 1hr and will be structured according to individual learning styles, goals and needs.
