About Belén

I have just finished the Master’s Programme “Secondary Education, Baccalaureate, Official School of Languages and Vocational Training”

Previously, I studied the Degree in Translation and Interpretation of English at the University of Alicante. Finishing this last 2020.

During the development of the Degree, I have given private classes and also, I was working as Coordinator of International Programs in the Travelingua company. In which he had direct contact with sponsors and American companies.

As I love traveling and English, I have made several stays in English-speaking countries:

- Eramus Program in London (Middlesex University) in the 2016/2017 academic year.
[ N] - Worker in luxury hotels such as Marriott Mountain Resort in Vail, Colorado (USA) for three full summers (2016/2017/2019) total about 12 months.

About the lesson

Hello everyone! Nice to meet you:)

Teaching is my passion. I love connecting with students to find out their interests and from there being able to teach English in the most enjoyable way possible. I am always looking for and creating activities that can motivate students and bring out the best in students. I love to travel and be in constant learning.

The classes are completely adapted to the person attending to their needs and taking into account their preferences, tastes and objectives. I prepare personalized classes for each student and exercises expressly done and prepared by me according to the needs of each one.

My methodology is mainly communicative, since it is the objective of any language. Classes are entirely in English except for certain times when it is strictly necessary.

The way of learning grammar or vocabulary will be done through texts taken from real contexts to make English more attractive and motivating, in addition to using it in real situations instead of meaningless vocabulary lists. [N ]
In my classes, all skills are normally covered:
- Speaking: it is practiced throughout the class and in addition, there are also activities to develop it in certain exercises.
- Listening: oral comprehension tests will be carried out both in class and outside of it.
- Reading: the texts are extracted and adapted from news, social networks, etc. To place them in a real environment.
- Writing: the essays will be sent every week and they will be returned corrected before class in order to take advantage of the entire hour.

There will be different methods of proofreading the essays so that the student is able to self-correct their own texts.

If the person wants to prepare for an exam, the "skills" will be adapted to their needs.

Classes are taught at all levels and fields.
