About Ami
I am a graduate from Cardiff University and studied on the 3 year BA (Hons) Translation degree course. I started learning French from the age of 6 and Spanish from the age of 11. I taught both languages to different age groups as a Student Language Ambassador during my university studies.

Depending on the age of the pupil, my teaching method would be to start with vocabulary, then work on grammar. When teaching vocabulary, I ask my pupils to repeat each word to ensure correct pronunciation. I would then support the learning of vocabulary with activities. Following this, I would advise my pupils to make an effort to memorise the vocabulary taught each week. With regard to grammar, again, depending on the age of the pupil, I would begin with the basic verbs, then progress up the levels bit by bit.
