About Alice
I am a translation student with a passion for languages and literature!
I am currently studying a Masters in Literary Translation and have a 1st Class Degree in French.
I have 2 years experience teaching English as a second language. In July 2019 I graduated from Bangor University with a First-Class BA Hons degree in French, where I also received the Dr Barbara Saunderson Prize for best in the year for French, as well as a distinction for oral proficiency in French. Currently I am on the MA in Literary Translation at the University of East Anglia.
I have a keen interest in teaching and learning languages and have two years of experience in the field. I have taught English as a foreign language to both French and Chinese students, and French as a foreign language to English students. I have also worked with a variety of ages, ranging from three years old to seventeen years old, and have experience in working one to one with students, as well as will groups of up to twenty pupils.

I have experience in teaching a wide range of levels (from ages 4 - 18) and as a result use a variety of techniques.
For younger students I aim to incorporate a variety of media into the lessons including images, songs, interactive games etc.
For older students I approach more complicated topics with materials such as quizzes and comprehension activities.
