About MARIE SOFONIE
"I'm Marie Sofonie, a trilingual professional (Creole, French, English) with over a decade of experience using French at a professional level. As an accredited sports journalist (FIFA, CONCACAF, CONMEBOL) and in social development work across Haiti. French hasn't just been a language I studied; it's been the language I've worked in daily, on air and in the field.
I also bring real teaching experience as a youth soccer coach, where I've learned how to break down skills clearly, keep people motivated, and adapt to different learning styles. That same approach carries into my French lessons: patient, structured, and focused on real progress rather than just checking boxes.
