About Cédrick
Hi, I’m Cédrick!
I’m a passionate language tutor who loves to inspire confidence and creativity in my students. Teaching is more than a profession for me—it’s a way to connect with people and help them achieve their goals. Over the years, I’ve taught French to immigrant friends, guiding them in conversation and writing with patience and enthusiasm.
Beyond tutoring, I’m a songwriter, singer, and guitar player, always ready to share a story, whether through words or music. I also love exploring the world; I’ve spent two months in Morocco, a month in Guatemala, and a month in Spain, experiences that have deepened my appreciation for different cultures and languages.
My lessons are dynamic, creative, and tailored to your needs. I bring my love of storytelling, travel, and music into every session, making learning engaging and memorable. If you’re looking for a tutor who’s invested in your success and loves to make learning fun, I’d be thrilled to work with you!

Teaching Methodology and Techniques :
I believe that effective tutoring starts with understanding each student’s unique learning style. I focus on creating a safe and supportive environment that encourages curiosity and participation. My lessons are highly interactive, combining conversation practice, writing exercises, and tailored activities that align with the student’s goals. For language learners, I emphasize real-world application, integrating cultural nuances and practical scenarios into the lessons.
Typical Lesson Plan :
A typical session begins with a short conversation or review of previous lessons to reinforce learning. Next, we dive into structured exercises targeting specific skills, such as vocabulary or writing techniques. The lesson concludes with a personalized activity, such as drafting a short story, composing an email, or practicing conversational scenarios.
What Sets Me Apart
I am trilingual (French, English, and Spanish) and have a strong foundation in language education. My year of university studies in political international relations included a specialization in Spanish and Arabic, enhancing my understanding of linguistic structures and cultural diversity. I also have hands-on experience teaching French to immigrant friends, which has honed my ability to simplify complex concepts and adapt to various proficiency levels.
