About Steve
I have a 2.1 Degree in Electrical & Electronic Eng & Masters Degree.
I have been an Electronics Engineer at Lucas Aerospace.
It's now a hobby.
I have been a ‘systems engineer’ for 30 years, my approach is
simplify the problem, build in modules, my technique is to explain only the essential details to understand how to use electronic components without having to read through pages of detail.
Currently my support is aimed at people with little background or confidence in practical electronics.

About the lesson

My style is a ‘systems approach’ to the most useful circuits, going through the theory then using LTspice for simulations and then can be followed by a practical demonstration.
The focus is on understanding just the important detail required to get the circuit up and running, which then helps later with fault finding if the module is not working initially or as expected.
Current training is on opamps, LM311 & zener diode but you can request a topic - i.e. the material has to be prepared/set up.
(Currently preparing sessions for Linear, Buck & Boost power supplies - beginner level)
On request can also prepare sessions for the PIC microcontroller and mplabx (compiler) using C code - beginner level - see my website for PIC topic index)
You/we can build the circuits on the breadboard but this can take a bit more time.
