About Gokhan

I am a qualified and an experienced Turkish and English Language teacher and interpreter. I have been teaching both children and adults since 2006 and receiving 100% positive feedback from all students.

I also run after-school clubs for children (English, Maths, Science) in the evenings and at the weekends. Please contact me for your enquiry.

About the lesson

I am a native Turkish speaker and have been teaching Turkish Lessons since I came to the UK in 2006 and I run English and Maths Clubs, too.

Graduating from a specialist teachers college, and then being a language teacher after doing my BA and MA studies I can confidently say that I learned the educational and developmental psychology of the children as well as the different types of learners very well. All these traits gave me the understanding of how an ideal teacher should be and equipped with in terms of subject knowledge, being up-to-date with latest developments in education and using multiple approaches and methodologies in teaching.

In addition, I can express that I am fully aware of the stages of language learning such as Young Learners, Learners at Critical Age Period, Adolescents and Adults and this helps me prepare my resources and materials accordingly and age appropriate.

I can also add that there are not many teachers who have access to beautiful resources (i.e. Turkish or International press paperback or computerized) specially designed for native or foreign learners of Turkish however at home and at my work place I have a big library and collection of learner friendly books which will help you learn the language step by step through my unique approach of a combined Communicative and Multiple Intelligence methods.
