About Julie

I am new to tutoring and I am looking to practice, learn and improve in teaching English to speakers of other languages before relocating to South Korea later this year to teach English. I also love helping other psychology students to edit their papers, particularly if you have issues with word counts (I do!). I am more than happy to help with psychology as much as I can but would consider myself more of an experienced learner than teacher in that area.

As I have mentioned, I will be completing the TESOL (120 hour version) by the end of May 2022 and I am currently a Forensic Psychology and Mental Health MSc student who studies part time online at Coventry University. Therefore, I can work around our schedules from the beginning of June 2022 (I will update this entry accordingly). Prior to this, I completed my undergraduate in Psychology, receiving a 2:1 from the University of Glasgow. I also have an HND in Music Performance from Riverside Music College, just as a random CV entry from my passion of singing!

About the lesson

English - all levels of learning English for speakers of other languages

Psychology - up to undergraduate level but best suited to secondary level

I am new to tutoring and I am completing a Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) course by the end of May. I would love to have the privilege of working for you and with you to reach your goals and I am open to any feedback on how I can help you better.

I am a part time Forensic Psychology and Mental Health MSc student who studies online so I am used to this format of learning and providing peer feedback. As such, I am more than happy to help with any word count editing, formatting or help with psychology assignments at undergraduate or secondary school level.

I believe in a practical and adaptable approach to tutoring where we can work one on one to understand what needs worked on and what is going well. Then we can create solutions to fit how you learn. We can look at the type of learner you are (e.g. auditory or visual). Lesson length is adapted to what you need and when suits our schedules.
