About Matilde
I am a student at the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Lisbon and I have been tutoring for five years to various students and about almost all subjects of the 1st and 2nd cycle programs and some of the 3rd cycle programs. I am not able to help with 3rd cycle mathematics, science and physico-chemistry. Depending on my availability, since these are subjects that require more planning than the others and than other years, I will be able to help students from secondary to Portuguese, English and Philosophy. In addition, I teach Italian classes to interested parties.

I usually start by trying to understand where the student has the most difficulties, both in his personal opinion and in mine. After that, and depending on the time of the school year, I make a plan with the student in order to focus first on the topics / subjects they have more difficulties in and leaving the less problematic ones in the background. If there are tests close by, I work on the material that comes out first, in order to obtain the best possible results. I base my explanations on the student's manuals / notes and on supplementary forms / exercises. If necessary, I will help the student to summarize the subject so that he can study alone more easily.
