About Sujaan
I have studied French for 11 years, from Primary School to Undergraduate level at Durham University. I am interested in Francophone literature, culture, and history, in Europe and beyond, and have studied a wide range of history and literature in my first year at Durham. I am looking forward to embarking on a year abroad in France in my 3rd Year at University.

I am a native English speaker who has studied French for over 11 years, throughout the entire British school system (9 at GCSE, A* at A-Level). I now study History and French at Durham University, and would be able to teach French to GCSE or A Level students. I would focus on exam-specific preparation, walking students through specific techniques as well as broader language practice. I have an intimate knowledge of the A Level curriculum and thus could give specialised advice relating to the film/literature sections as well as how to answer speaking questions.

I know him from uni- very helpful with explaining key concepts with clarity and patience.
Languages - especially French - have never been my strong point. French was a subject I could never grasp during year 10, Sujaan made the learning different. He took away the stress from the classroom and was able to make it a comfortable place to learn. Now I am studying French A level and plan to spend my gap year there! This in itself speaks volumes of Sujaan’s teaching capabilities. I couldn’t be more pleased with the results.
