About Saoirse
Hello! I am a friendly and engaging tutor with experience in 11+ preparation as both tutor and tutee. In 2019, I was admitted into The Tiffin Girls’ School, which is ranked by the Sunday Times as the #5 state secondary school in the UK, and as #1 among those who admit girls into their lower school. I offer 11+ tuition in both Maths and English, and have tutored in both before with a 100% success rate. I achieved grade 9s at GCSE in both English Language and English Literature in 2024, and achieved an A* in A-Level Maths in 2026. I have previously tutored students in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6, including those with learning difficulties.

I base my lesson structure on methods that I know from experience are effective, and use the same high-quality resources with my students that I used myself for my own 11+ preparation. As someone who went through the exam process with then-undiagnosed ADHD, and who has experience in tutoring other students with learning difficulties, I have a firsthand understanding of the importance of tailoring the teaching method to the needs of the student. As a result, my number one priority is making my lessons engaging and accessible for the individual in order to maximise the effectiveness of each session.
