About Mary Theresa
I am a graduate student with experience in student teaching in 3rd, 4th, and 7th grade classrooms. My first "student" was my little brother who is now in 7th grade. I am open to tutoring any grade school level! I am available to tutor in subjects like reading, writing, natural sciences, and social studies.

My job as a tutor is to help a student understand the material they find confusing or specifically difficult in the classroom. The student has the tools and abilities to master the content, I am there to help them break those mental barriers keeping them from that mastery! Being a tutor is a great way to customize a lesson for one student. Whether their day time instructor's explanations are not appropriate for the individual student's learning style, or they just need the repetition, I am there to make the material manageable.
