About Andis

I am Canadian. I moved to China to get the experience to teach English. Before that, I got degrees in Mathematics and Economics. I had employment experience in many sectors including retail, government, the military and logistics. Not only do I bring teaching experience to my classes, I also bring extensive life experience and different perspectives.

About the lesson

I am flexible. If you want conversation, I can discuss many topics including culture, sports, history, philosophy, hobbies, movies, TV series, music, literature and so on. If you want drills, I can do that. If you want to learn grammar, I would love to teach you. If you want to improve your writing, you can give me a sample of your writing, and we can work on improving it. If there is some text you don't understand, I will decipher it for you. I always review to see what you have learned and what you haven't. And I will make sure that we do at a level that interests you, challenges you, but does not overwhelm you.
