About Samantha
- As a child, I struggled greatly with ADHD and anxiety. It was hard for me to put together thoughts and stop procrastinating. I understand how hard it can be and how much of a struggle writing and reading English can be for certain individuals.
- I love working with people and making sure that they are able to shine their brighest. I see great potential in every student. As a college student, I can still relate to the youth while still having a good amount of knowledge and experience under my belt.
- I want you to leave my lessons feeling better about yourself and your English skills than you did when you first arrived. I am always open to feedback. I want you to tell me what's working and what's not. We are learning together.

Establishing connection and trust:
- I like to start with an introductory lesson that allows for the student and I to get to know each other.
- Right off the bat, establishing what it is that the student wants to gain from the tutoring sessions and what their strengths and weaknesses are in the subject.
Work:
- If there is any school work, assignments, or essays that need to be outlined, re-read, revised or talked about I am open to doing so.
Practice:
- If the student wants to practice reading or writing excersies, I can provide some. We can also work on any excersies provided by the student or the school.
Who my tutoring is for:
