About Mairead
I’m a first-year Physiotherapy student at UCD, originally from Connemara, and a native Irish speaker. I’ve always enjoyed learning and helping others understand difficult topics, which is why I’d love to offer grinds to secondary school students. Having recently completed the Leaving Certificate myself, I understand the challenges students face and want to make studying feel more manageable and enjoyable. I’m patient, approachable and happy to adapt my teaching style to each student.

English
Hi! I’m a first-year Physiotherapy student at UCD and I offer friendly, personalised grinds in Irish and Biology. I achieved 613 points in my Leaving Certificate, including H1s in both subjects. I’m also a native Irish speaker from Connemara, so I can offer particular support with both written and spoken Irish, including preparation for the oral exam. I’ll adapt each lesson to the student’s level and focus on building understanding, confidence and exam technique.
