About Victoria Anne
Hi! I'm Victoria. I am a friendly and dedicated English tutor, and your teammate, in whom you can trust to prioritise your academic success and development before all else.
I am based in Central London and I am currently in my final year of a BA in English at UCL. I current hold two graduate offers to study an MSt in Literature and Arts at Oxford, and an MSt in Creative Writing at Cambridge.

I've been tutoring and providing one-on-one academic mentorship to students of some of New Zealand's best high schools since 2019 before moving to the UK in 2021. My teaching style is result-oriented, though without compromising on your freedom to explore and appreciate English as a subject.
Through my training and experience as a Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) examiner and assessment officer, I have a broad base of knowledge on CIE/AQA/Edexcel exam board specifications, assessment criteria and marking schemes.
After our initial video consultation, I'll ask you what your academic goals are and give you a short assessment to determine your current ability level. We'll then work together to create an in-depth study programme with weekly learning objectives, strategically aligned with your curriculum content and targeted to your areas of strengths and weaknesses. The programme is personalised to your individual learning style and course requirements, aiming to refine your content comprehension, exam preparedness and study skills, and give you a competitive edge in assessments.
Each lesson is 1 hour long. It includes a take-home assignment packet that consists of relevant study materials to support your independent revision at home, such as study notes, resources for further reading, question booklets and practice exam papers.
