About Olivia
I am a BA English undergraduate at UCL. I love my subject and I am passionate about all things literary— I am a natural bookworm and enjoy being immersed in other worlds found within books!
I understand that school/sixth form is a challenging time for students and the pressure this can put on both the student and family life. My goal is to alleviate that pressure as much as possible and make the learning experience enjoyable and accessible for the student. I use a variety of media when teaching a text, including film and stage adaptations to make literature “come to life”. I believe that learning should be fun and adapt lessons to suit the interests of the student whilst ensuring that the curriculum is followed.

Hello students and parents!
My name is Olivia and I am now offering private tutoring for both English Literature and English language. I work with students aged 10-18 who may be working towards their SATs, GCSEs, or A-Levels. I am a final year BA English student at UCL and have received a commendation for outstanding contributions at university.
I take a highly personalised approach for each student and recognise each child for their own unique abilities and tailor every lesson to meet their needs. I believe that learning should be fun and aim to make lessons appealing and engaging for students whilst ensuring that your child is meeting their targets. Each lesson plan is made for the student and progress reviewed frequently.
Fully DBS checked. I can provide lessons remotely via Zoom or in person depending on the wishes of the parent.
