About Seamus

I love helping students build strong fundamentals to feel confident thinking through problems on their own, instead of relying on memorised tricks. I graduated from UCLA with a B.S. in Cognitive Science (3.94 GPA, Departmental Honours) and am currently completing a master’s degree in philosophy at the London School of Economics, where I focus on logic and reasoning. I scored a 175 on the LSAT and have been accepted to a top law school. My background in logic shapes how I teach: I break ideas down clearly, focus on structure, and make sure students understand the why behind what they’re learning.

About the lesson

I’ve worked with a wide range of students, from middle schoolers learning English and writing, to LSAT students preparing for test day, to children and adults in Taekwondo classes. I’ve taught in classrooms, small groups, and one-on-one settings, and I enjoy adapting my approach to each student’s age and learning style. No matter the subject, I care about helping students build real understanding, steady confidence, and skills they can carry with them long after our sessions end.
