About Michael
I attended the University of Minnesota Duluth, earning a BA in history with a minor in English. In attending that institution, I learned a great deal about how to read between the lines and root literature in its cultural moment. I have partaken in creative writing as a hobby for well over a decade now, and I have become skilled at creating compelling characters, plots, and settings.

Throughout the years of my own education, I have gained a deep respect for the written word. Literature is very important to our culture, and that notion will be at the forefront of my lessons, no matter what subject we're covering. I will elucidate not only the importance of the text but how the author achieved their goal, and in the context of creative writing, how the student may achieve that goal in turn. Altogether, this will enrich their understanding of literature on its own and as a piece of our linguistic, national, or cultural heritage.
