About Emily
Having previously been tutored myself for GCSE, I personally understand how difficult and strenuous school and exams can be. I'm able to adapt to any kinds of thinking and can approach material in any way tutees wish, as I'm aware that different people need different methods sometimes! I've taught ages 4 all the way to 18 and have always found that patience and kindness are key, aiming to help you understand in ways that are helpful to you, rather than just how it's generally taught.

I prioritise engagement and enjoyment in my tutoring, as I believe that this is invaluable, and have no difficulty finding abstract ways to understand material if the way you've been taught previously doesn't work!
I prioritise active recall exercises and then breaking down difficult material using everyday and more approachable examples, building strong foundations of the basics to facilitate understanding of more nuanced materials.
