About Lauranne
Hi there!
My name is Lauranne and I study Management at Kedge Business School in Bordeaux, but I recently moved to Ireland to obtain my BA in International Business in the University of Limerick.
I want to give French lessons to share my love for my mother tongue, which is as complex as it is beautiful. My sessions are an opportunity for you to practice your accent, pronunciation and expend your vocabulary with an enthusiastic and very chatty 20 years old. I enjoy watching students be satisfied of their own improvement and pushing them to their best. I am motivated, implicated in everything I do and very excited to work with you!

Conversation is the main component of my speaking lessons. Most students understand and write French well but a language should be spoken!
For the first 50 min session, I would start by getting to know the tutee, their interests and their overall level of comfortableness with the language. Then, I'd invite them to watch French TED talks and to discuss their content with me, encouraging them to express opinions and ideas.
I have no prior experience as a tutor but I learned English to a C2 level thanks to intense training, and I am very excited to share those tips with my tutees now!
I would prefer teaching teenagers from 3rd to 6th grade (between 14 and 18 years old).
