About Shania

Hi, my name is Shania! I am an undergraduate studying Law at the University of Warwick, I have a strong academic background, achieving four 8s and six 9s in GCSEs and excelling in A-levels with an A* in Sociology (highest in my cohort), and A grades in Government and Politics, and Religion, Philosophy, and Ethics. My achievements in national competitions have honed my skills in essay writing and effective revision techniques, which I'm eager to share with my students.

About the lesson

In my tutoring sessions, I prioritise tailoring the content to suit each student's individual needs, particularly focusing on enhancing their exam technique. I'm patient and encouraging, yet I am also prepared to challenge my students where necessary to reach their full potential. I offer support beyond regular sessions by providing revision sheets, reviewing essays, and setting additional assignments which I will provide constructive feedback on to help students progress. As a student myself I understand the anxiety surrounding exams, so I am happy to go at the pace of the student and ensure that they know all specification content prior to their exams. Ultimately, as a tutor I aim to foster confidence in my students' abilities, and ensure they're well-prepared to excel and achieve top grades.
