About Finley
I grew up playing guitar and piano in Toronto. I've taken lessons since the age of 4, and have played in multiple rock and indie bands since, as well as solo performances on guitar and piano. I've worked at a summer camp with young children for 2 summers, and have volunteered at elementary school music classes as well as young children's hockey lessons. I am currently studying jazz guitar at U of T, and playing in two bands outside of school. I play and teach both acoustic and electric guitar, and listen to all types of music from jazz to hip hop, rock, indie and metal. I would love to learn about you and help you play what inspires you on guitar!

I currently study jazz guitar but have also played lots of rock, metal, folk, and other genres. I will cater and adapt my lessons to your personal interests and goals.
I mostly work with younger children, and have lots of experience working as a camp counselor and helping out in elementary school music classes. I would also be open to teach older students at a beginner to intermediate level.
Our lessons would involve discussing your interests and what you would like to work or improve on, I would give you some general skills or exercises to work on, and we would learn a few songs that you could practice or play in your own time. However, everyone learns in a different way and I would adapt our lessons to what works best and is most enjoyable for you.
