About

As a current senior university student, myself, I understand the struggle of writing essays and fearing that they come across as "superficial" or "irrelevant" simply because there may be too many spelling and grammar mistakes for the professor or university to take it seriously. I understand the fear that these same mistakes might be so prevalent that they take away the importance of the point you're trying to present. Small mistakes like spelling can make a big difference overall and can sometimes be the backbone that makes or breaks an exceptional paper. And so, it's my firm belief that no one should have to worry about spelling mistakes when they have other things that take higher precedence over things of that nature. Personally, as a neuroscience major, I write research papers almost weekly. But I'm fluent enough in my practice that I rarely have to worry about spelling mistakes. My friends and fellow peers, however, usually do. And so, through them, I can confidently say that I have been tutoring in spelling for about three and a half years and hope to continue to help others in this way for many more to come.

About the lesson

Are you struggling with spelling? Do large, complex words stress you out? Well, you’re in luck! As a dedicated spelling tutor with a passion for language, I strive to make spelling fun and easy to learn for all my prospective students.

As your tutor, I endeavor to make my lessons as personalized as possible to fit your learning style, and we’ll use interactive tools and fun games to master difficult words.

In the past, I have worked with many students who, after working with me, have seen improvements in their writing. Stating that they “rarely if ever” have to utilize auto-correct or Google for spelling errors and have found a significant decrease in the amount of words they have gotten wrong when writing important papers and essays.

Ready to take the next step? Let’s start your journey to spelling success today!

Nyah helped me edit all of my papers for my introduction to English class. I could not have asked for a better and more hands on tutor! She was very patient with me and helped me fully understand why my grammar was wrong and how I could do better.
