About Abiramy

Hello! As your tutor, I can help you with your homework, and you can ask me any questions about any French language topics. I will be working with you to improve your French reading skills, writing skills, listening skills, and speaking skills. I would love to do French activities with you, and we can also learn lessons on Duolingo. Duolingo is a language app, and it is a lot of fun! We can learn about French numbers, letters, adjectives, verbs, and many more. I will build the lesson plans based on what you would like to learn, and what you need help improving on. We will be doing French practice quizzes to help you feel more confident in what you've learned! Also, we can go over what you have difficulty with, and we can practice the mistakes you made on the quizzes. Please don't hesitate to ask me any questions about the topics we will discuss in the lessons, as well as your homework. Hope to see you soon!

About the lesson

I will be using different teaching strategies when tutoring students. There are so many different ways to tutor in French. For example, I read French books, listen to French verb songs, and play Duolingo with students. When doing different activities, I will be able to evaluate the student's cooperative learning and reading skills. I will also acknowledge that sometimes there is too much information/content thrown at the students. So I would make sure how the students feel about the content, and whether I should take the lesson slower or faster. I can teach French to students up to Grade 9. In my lessons, I would include an agenda of what I am going to teach, the content, videos, activities, and a brief summary of what learning outcomes would be achieved in that lesson.

I had a great time tutoring Katie's son! We were able to work on a lot of things during each tutoring session. The strengths of my student are: that he can read fluently in French, he is able to complete most math questions, and that he always comes with a positive attitude to each session! He always asks "What are we doing today"? I believe Katie's son can improve on following the techniques shown in the examples. Also, I believe that reading the instructions would also help with for example, rounding the answer to the nearest decimal. I enjoyed tutoring Katie's son, and I hope to continue tutoring him this year. I wish him the best of luck!

Deadly! She is always on time, that is a good point, I tried other teachers and had many problems with it!
