About Antara
My name is Antara, and I am currently a First Year student at the University of St Andrews, where I am studying Modern History and International Relations. At GCSE Level, History was my favourite subject, and the exams in which I did the best, prompting me to choose the subject for both A Level and Degree level. I am keen to revisit the subject and encourage students to love the subject as much as I did and still do.

GCSE History tutoring sessions, from 1-2 hours. Lessons can focus on understanding and memorising content, as well as improving and practising exam technique. This will be done through writing and marking practice essays and spending extra time on learning key events and dates in relation to the topic. I have already tutored GCSE History at secondary schools to students younger than me.

Deadly! Antara is excellent and has really helped my son with his history. She is thorough and prepared and asks him prior to his session if there’s anything he wants to work on so he can make sure to cover any problem areas. She’s also given him questions after his session to work on for next time. I really recommend Antara and my son says she makes it easy to understand and he feels at ease working with her.
