About Katie-Marie
I am an Undergraduate of Philosophy BA (Hons). Despite my Autism, mental health issues and personal circumstances throughout my third year, I was able to achieve a 2:1.
I have had the support of many people including my family, university Counsellor and Mentor at university.
I was also a Befriender voluntarily for 8 months at Milestones' Trust which is an organisation that supports the needs of the mentally ill in order to become independent within society.

My teaching method is like talking to a friend or someone you know. I would like my students to feel like they can tell me anything (within reason) so that they get the best support! I will approach each topic like me and the student are having a proper conversation; this will help them come to realise what they need to do instead of making someone feel like they are force fed information and not able to take it in. We will go by a step by step plan to make the student want to achieve their goals.
