Currently working as a Data Engineer Manager, I have a Master's in Data Science from the University of Chicago.

Math and programming are 2 essential pillars for data science, however, it is not limited to it. For one to be a good data scientist, they should also learn how to debug other's code, reading documentation, searching for helponline when facing an issue (yes, googling is a skill).
