Uni Student looking to help students learn and excel!

Recently, Fran assisted me with revising for my 2nd year Linguistic course. Despite being an undergraduate in Biomedical Sciences, Fran's general knowledge and understanding of my subject was invaluable. Alongside her own exams, she spent time helping me recall flashcards, structuring short essays, and developing my understanding of key concepts in Linguistics. Fran is an extremely caring individual and this resonated in the countless hours she invested in my revision. She is patient and considerate, but also pushed me to recall and retain all the information I set out to. At times where I felt frustrated with the revision and wanted to give up, Fran consistently encouraged me to keep going. Her enthusiasm for my subject and the questions she asked me about Linguistics in general helped me rediscover my love and passion for the subject, despite the high pressure environment exams can create. I felt more confident going into this exam than ever before, and I would recommend Fran as an academic tutor without hesitation (she also makes a banging cuppa tea).

Francesca was one of my students in IB Diploma Biology, and graduated a year ago. She was exceptional in putting time and effort into her learning, even more amazing was Francesca's ability to help others. She is patient and takes the time to listen to the needs of others, then she is able to find a way to best assist; Francesca will continue until she knows the other person truly understands.

Francesca has also been kind enough to come back and talk to my current class of students. She has given them great tips on study skills, biology, and how to improve their internal assessments. The advice she gives is useful and important. She also has a great professional manner with the class, and is attentive to their concerns.
