About Katie

I have a degree in Japanese and Business Studies, and qualified first as a Secondary languages teacher, teaching French and German for several years before training as a Primary teacher. I have taught across KS1 and KS2 with particular experience in Year 6. I am experienced in preparing and teaching children for a range of assessments including SATs and GCSEs, as well as teaching all Primary curriculum subjects. As a successful adult with ADHD myself I am passionate about supporting and inspiring children with ADHD in their learning and wider life to fulfill their potential and build confidence.

About the lesson

My teaching method is based on building resilience and confidence to approach each new learning challenge with a growth mindset. Each session is adapted to your learning style and pace to ensure continued engagement for each individual.
