About Aven

I’m an English tutor with a Bachelor of Science in English Language and Professional Writing and over 2 years of experience. I specialise in helping emergent readers and early elementary students develop strong literacy skills. I’m passionate about children’s literature and storytelling as tools for learning. My lessons use picture books, creative play, and interactive storytelling to make reading fun. I focus on building reading comprehension, phonological awareness, and vocabulary. About the lesson
