About Jodie
I graduated in 2014 from the University of Birmingham with a degree in Modern Foreign Languages and Business. I was born in Wales, but now live in the West Midlands with my fiancé and two children. I lived in Spain as a child with my family and I was thrown in the deep end, attending a Spanish primary school with no language skills. Within six months, I was fluent in Spanish! Everything about Spain and the culture enthrals me and I love to teach the language to share my passion with others. I have taught English in Spain to children and professionals, and tutored Spanish in the UK too. My belief is that education is incredibly personal so it is my mission to ensure my lessons are tailored to the individual or group's needs. I am a staunch advocate for disabled people and believe in equal access to education. I will cater for any disability or learning need that is required for my students.

If you are a retiree moving to Spain, your lessons will be tailored to those exact needs. Do you have an additional learning need like dyslexia or dyspraxia? Allow my extensive background in education and tutoring to ensure your learning is accessible and enables you to thrive. An initial meet will ensure that I can tailor a plan to your goals and make the lessons as engaging and exciting as possible. As someone that has lived in Spain several times over my life, I am happy to assist with cultural need-to-knows, help setting up administrative tasks for visas and emigration, and furthering your Spanish literature knowledge.
