About Harriet
Having tutored since I was in high school, I enjoy sharing learning experiences with people and helping them progress further. I am punctual, empathetic and patient, and have always been intrigued by languages; I myself am currently learning Chinese and Greek. I am organised and believe that preparation is essential for effective teaching, hand in hand with adapting to a student’s needs.

We will focus on key language skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing through creative activities and structured progress. Together we can build a learning plan personalised to your interests and goals.
I am a TEFL-certified teacher with a degree in Spanish and French. I have worked with languages in France, Spain, South America and the UK. My lessons are suitable for all ages and levels - I have experience teaching all ages and in professional, school, and private settings. I have taught French, Spanish and English to high school students, businesspeople and bespoke lessons to those looking to develop their language abilities.
Lessons are 45 minutes long. We will focus on the key areas you wish to advance in through activities and practice. We will achieve key grammar and vocabulary goals, and look at ways to boost your interaction with languages both in and outside the classroom.
