About Luke
I work in a medicinal chemistry lab doing organic synthesis for my university almost every day, so I'm very familiar with both the theoretical and the applied aspects of organic chemistry. Tangible first-hand experience is what makes me so familiar with the important concepts of organic chemistry.

Organic chemistry is not about memorization. The key to understanding organic chemistry is understanding the reasons behind the behavior of organic molecules. If you truly understand the basics, then you can easily visualize molecular interactions. My technique as a tutor will be to help the student understand the "why" behind organic chemistry and use their knowledge of the basics to solve any problem that comes their way.
