I have been a University of Edinburgh tutor and private tutor for over 4 years. I have vast experience in academic writing and I would love to help you get better at it!
Unfortunately school and university are often ill-designed to support students' individual needs, but instead make many people feel like they are somehow inadequate or not good enough.
The benefit of tutoring is that we can overcome these difficulties by emphasising what YOU need and what YOU excel at to produce excellent results, and make the process more enjoyable along the way.

I employ a very personalised teaching methodology. This means honing in on your personal skills and working out which is the best approach for you.
For example, if you have ADHD this might mean you are very productive for shorter periods of time, but some detail gets lost along the way, or you struggle to finish projects. I have found that in this case shorter, clearly structured lessons can help the student stay motivated and achieve better results.
- Age: 14 yrs and up
- I have experience in tutoring undergraduate students (including someone with ADHD) and received very positive feedback, but can also teach students who are still in school and need help with essay writing or similar academic work
