About Lucy
I have tutored my younger brother and cousin as well as a two other local girls through both their GCSE and AS level examinations with academic excellence after myself gaining 10 A* at GCSE and A*AA at A level and an A in Biology at AS level. I have studied A level History, English Literature and Politics and done a year at Warwick University studying Politics of which I am now transferring to education on the path to becoming a teacher. I also have teaching experience in a local primary school.

My teaching methodology is definitely more of a student-centerer approach where instead of acting as an authority figure I try my best to come onto a similar level of those I teach and cooperate with them as an individual learner, using the tactics and teaching approaches that work for them as individuals. I also prefer in general to work quite low-tech with less technology and a more verbal and hands on approach, as for me in particular as well as those Ive taught this is what seems to have produced a deeper understanding of information and therefore better grades. However, I definitely believe I can adapt to any sort of learner and whatever a student requires to gain greater understanding of a topic and subject.
