About Alessia
I’m a dedicated and patient French tutor with years of immersion experience and a true passion for language learning. I’m currently in my third year of university, specializing in French Studies, with the goal of becoming a French teacher. I have a strong background in speaking, writing, reading, and vocabulary, and I volunteer every week in middle school French classrooms, assisting with Core, Extended, and Immersion programs. This experience has helped me develop clear teaching methods and a positive approach that keeps students motivated. I strive to create a welcoming environment where students feel comfortable, supported, and confident in their academic progress. My mission is to help each student succeed and enjoy learning French, no matter their level or goals.

As a French tutor, I like to make learning fun, encouraging, and personalised to each student’s needs. My lessons focus on improving speaking, reading, writing, and vocabulary through simple explanations and practical activities. A typical session starts with reviewing homework or class material the student found difficult, then we work on building understanding with interactive exercises, conversation practice, or writing help. I also support students with school projects, test prep, and assignments. What sets me apart is my strong French immersion background, my university studies in French, and my experience volunteering every week in middle school French classrooms. My lessons are for students in elementary or high school (Core, Extended, or Immersion) who want to feel more confident and improve their French at their own pace.
