About Amaan
Let me tell you more about myself. I am a native English speaker but I also speak Spanish. I love to run and go to the gym and I am a big fan of football (soccer) - my team is Manchester United. I also used to be a dancer where I trained regularly for 10 years - performing and competing across the country. I am also a film and music enthusiast - horror, action, comedy, rock, hip-hop, folk - I watch and listen to everything! I am from a very musical family - I play the guitar. But, one of my favourite things to do is travel! Whenever I can, I love to adventure through different parts of the world and my travels have taken me through Europe, Asia, Africa and North America. Maybe I have been to your country or even your city! I have always loved English as a subject and a language and enjoyed passing on what I have learnt to others. I enjoy discovering ways to break down complex grammar topics into smaller and more manageable chunks so that everyone is able to learn but I also love talking to people about anything and everything. Since travelling around the world, I have become interested in many different cultures and therefore meeting students and teaching them English further enriches my world knowledge.

I love teaching all levels of English but I work particularly well with intermediate-advanced students. My teaching style adapts to the student. Classes can be fun and laid-back or detailed and more focused. I am happy to help students with grammar and language structure, natural conversation skills and even specific topics. If you have something you want to work on, let me know! Above all, I am an upbeat and patient person with a background in many areas of knowledge from history to current affairs to music and even sport. I also have a Level 5 TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) qualification. I'm particularly good at teaching everyday English and natural conversation the way natives speak.

Deadly! Amaan is an excellent tutor. He explains everything very clearly and clarify my doubts without leaving any doubts. I am really satisfied for choosing him as my tutor.
Deadly! Amaan is a great, easygoing tutor, qualified in many topics (from development studies to urban music!), what made the tutorial an interesting conversation. So far, we've only had the 1st lesson; but I have no doubt that the next lessons will be as compelling as the last one was. ¡Recomendado si quieres perfeccionar tu inglés!

amaan is a highly motivated teacher who researches thoroughly for every lesson. He is very enthusiastic about teaching students who want to progress. He helped me make great progress in my pronunciation and sentence structure and enjoys talking about a variety of interesting topics.
Amaan has been teaching me to speak advanced English for 4-5 months. He is very patient, kind, and friendly. He is always willing to go over things I have had difficulty with!
