About Melissa
I graduated with my Arts Degree from the University of the Western Cape, majoring in English, Sociology and Psychology. I've since worked as a Kindergarten English Teacher in China and have since returned home with hopes to soon continue my academic career in South Africa.

As I love literature, I would love to focus on teaching students at high school level. As students all have a different way in which they learn and process information my aim at first is to find the best method for each learner and then incorporate a teaching method that best fits them. These methods therefore differ from person to person but one method which I use is the Direct Method which would be repetitive drilling, so I would give a student multiple examples of this same thing till they are able to provide me with full understanding of the concept.
