About Abi
I am a university graduate with a 2:1 degree in Management and Business who has managed a children's activity camp of more than 80 children for the last 4 years. I have volunteered with organisations for adults with learning difficulties, disabilities or autism and currently volunteer as a Sunday school teacher and work alongside children with learning difficulties, disabilities or autism or English not as a first language.

I like to try and make my lessons suited to each individual person and as interactive as possible, through different mediums, writing, drawing, using objects, different methods of technology that work best for the student. I like to start out with any student to go over what they want to learn, and then get them or a family member to help create the learning objectives for the upcoming sessions, then using the student to create the lesson plans to keep them engaged with something they have created.

Abi tutored by son for his KS3 IT lessons and his enterprise and marketing lessons in year 10 and 11. She was able to support him in giving him tips about his coursework, as well as give him great advice and show him great ways to revise. He passed his course which he wouldn't have done without her help.
Abi tutored my 3 girls for a year after she graduated university. She helped them with English and Maths and basic IT skills. They had ADHD, dyslexia and speech apraxia. Abi was very patient and able to adapt the sessions for each of the girls.
