About Laurelle
Hi there! My name's Laurelle Van Leeuwen and I am currently offering tutoring sessions for children and youth. If your child need’s extra help with reading, writing or building their confidence at school, I'd be happy to work with you. I thoroughly enjoy collaborating with children and families to meet them where they’re at, while working towards personalized goals. I am currently registered with the Ontario College of Social Worker’s and studied my Bachelor’s of Social Work in Sudbury, Ontario. I’ve had the pleasure of working with children and families for over 5 years now, and continue to find passion in learning more!
I'd love to work together and figure out how we can boost your confidence at school! I believe that each individual already has the strength, power and energy to achieve any task/goal. Let's unpack and explore those strengths together! I look forward to hearing from you soon.

As a tutor and university grad I am dedicated to teaching children and youth so that they can feel confident in their own skills. I meet students and youth where they are at and build upon their current strengths.
I attend sessions with an energetic and calming attitude, while focusing on each students individual needs. My lessons/sessions are typically geared towards students aged 5-16, however, I am flexible with communicating
We will create a service plan/lesson plan that is specific to you! I am a firm believer that each student has different learning styles and requires different teaching techniques.
