About Mark
I am teacher Mark from South Africa. I hail from a coastal village, Leisure Bay. I love teaching and enjoy using the communicative approach. Learners should enjoy more talk time than me to enable me to monitor their level and progress. This approach highlites who needs more individual attention and the area to concentrate on.

In my lessons I strive to minimize my talk time to give students more talk time. I therefore utilize gestures, pictures, flash cards, realia, videos and photos to encourage learner participation in lessons. I include worksheets and model learner activities before expecting individual work from learners. Answers are drawn from learners through participation in lessons.
