About
I’m currently on a gap year before heading to Exeter to study law, and I’ve got A*AB in my A-Levels under my belt. Right now, I’m training as a netball coach and playing both netball and hockey, which keeps me busy and active! This gap year is a great chance for me to save some money and spend quality time with my family before diving into university life. As head girl in school, I learned a lot about leadership and communication, which really helped me when I tutored two students who made awesome progress in their grades. I also have dyslexia and have struggled with maths myself, so I do get what it’s like to face challenges academically and allows me to be much more patient and understanding. I’m really passionate about helping students succeed and can’t wait to support them in reaching their goals!

As a tutor for the Kent Test, I would focus on a personalised approach that addresses each student’s strengths and weaknesses. From there, I would create a tailored study plan that includes engaging practice exercises, mock tests, and interactive problem-solving sessions. To build confidence, I would encourage a positive mindset and offer constructive feedback, helping students develop effective test-taking strategies. Additionally, I would incorporate fun and challenging activities to keep them motivated and excited about learning.
As a GCSE English Literature and Language tutor, I would focus on a personalized approach to enhance each student’s skills. Starting with an assessment, I’d identify strengths and areas for improvement in text analysis and language use. We’d explore key themes and texts while practicing reading comprehension and writing techniques. I would also be happy to aid with set school work to ensure alignment with their curriculum. Regular mock exams would build confidence and refine strategies. Throughout, I’d emphasise clear, creative expression, fostering both understanding and a love for literature and language.
As an A-Level Sociology tutor, I would focus on a personalized approach to enhance each student’s understanding of key concepts and theories.
