About Robert

I am an active university lecturer, researcher, and Principal PhD Supervisor at Atlantic Technological University with over a decade of experience guiding higher-education students to success. My unique academic foundation pairs a First-Class Honours BSc in Sport & Exercise Science with a PhD in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from the University of Galway.

I don't just teach theory; I actively run cutting-edge, state-funded commercial R&D validation frameworks and direct postgraduate research in wearable AI tools, health science applications, and musculoskeletal clinical diagnostics. Furthermore, my background includes over a decade spent as a High Performance Manager and Performance Analyst within elite sports systems.

Whether you are an undergraduate building a sports science project, a Master's student stuck on your methodology, or a PhD candidate structuring complex statistical workflows, I know exactly what academic examiners look for and how to help you meet that standard. I provide specialized support in stress-testing research models, navigating institutional ethics, and mastering data analytics software including SPSS, R, and MATLAB to ensure your dissertation meets the highest external standards.

About the lesson

I focus on providing clear, highly actionable mentorship designed to help final-year and postgraduate students cross the finish line with maximum confidence. I treat our sessions like a professional consultation, breaking down complex research roadblocks into clear milestones.

Areas where I provide high-level advisory support:
-Thesis & Dissertation Strategy: Bulletproofing your experimental design, keeping your methodology tightly aligned with your research questions, navigating institutional ethics applications, and turning a descriptive literature review into a critical, publication-grade appraisal.
-The 'Mock Viva' Experience: Complete preparation for oral defenses. I simulate realistic academic panels, teach you how to defend your data with authority, and prepare you for common examiner pushbacks.
-The Statistics & Analytics Clinic: Taking the fear out of quantitative data. I offer structured troubleshooting for data processing, reliability testing, and kinematics analysis using MATLAB, SPSS, and R.
-Writing & Structure Refinement: Assisting non-native English speakers or stuck writers to structure complex technical, health, and sports science concepts clearly and accurately.

️ Academic Integrity & Professional Standards Notice
Please note that I uphold the highest standards of academic integrity. I operate strictly as an advisor, mentor, and statistical consultant; I am not an essay mill or ghostwriter. I will never write your dissertation, complete your assignments, or run your data analysis for you. My role is to teach you how to master the material, critique your existing drafts, and empower you to produce your own high-level, independent academic work.
