About Ben
I am an 18-year-old first-year Computer Science student at the University of Nottingham with a strong passion for programming and technology. Sharing my knowledge and helping others not only benefits my students but also enhances my own understanding of the subject.
Academically, I achieved seven 9s, two 8s, and a 7 at GCSE, with 9s in Maths, Computer Science, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Religious Studies, and Geography. At A-Level, I secured three As in Maths, Computer Science, and Biology, along with an A in the CyberEPQ. Alongside my academic studies, I’ve completed Grade 8 in Jazz saxophone and Grade 6 in guitar, which I continue to enjoy as hobbies.
I am eager to work with students who share my enthusiasm for Computer Science, helping them to expand their knowledge and develop strong programming skills. Whether it's tackling exam content or strengthening Python expertise, I am here to support students as much as I can.

I offer tailored online tutoring in Computer Science for GCSE and A-Level students, specialising in Python programming and coursework (NEA) assistance. My lessons are structured around each student’s unique learning needs, with a focus on ensuring you understand concepts rather than just memorising information. We will focus on the specific topics and concepts that you need help with and put theory into practice to
Sessions typically last 1 hour, but this can vary depending on your needs and schedule. I have experience with the AQA syllabus for Computer Science, but can be flexible with teaching other boards.
I am currently starting out with paid tutoring, however I have been doing voluntary tutoring for friends during sixth form and assisted them in learning Python for A-level. I personally have both a GCSE and A-Level in Computer Science, and I am currently studying Computer Science at the University of Nottingham.
My lessons are ideal for students looking to boost exam performance, improve their coursework, or build confidence in Python programming for personal and academic projects.
