About Pratyush
Studying languages has taught me a lot about communication and problem-solving, and I love bringing that into my tutoring. My style is all about working together with students to build a strong understanding, so they feel confident tackling tricky topics and making connections. While languages are my main focus, I achieved the top IB score of 45 and grade 9s in all my GCSEs, so I’m happy to help across lots of different subjects too.

When it comes to lessons, I take a flexible and personal approach. In the free introductory meeting, I get a sense of the student’s level and goals, which I then refine in our first session. I usually bring a range of materials so that lessons include different types of exercises: keeping things engaging while strengthening understanding through active participation. I like to start with a quick recap to check progress before moving on to new topics, ensuring nothing important is left behind. Because every student learns differently, I adapt my methods and often collaborate with them on planning future lessons: finding out what they enjoy, what works best, and what might need adjusting. This approach has consistently helped my students feel more confident and make real progress.
