About Emily
I am a University of Pittsburgh student and I'm hoping to become a French teacher or a speech therapist. I'm very patient and open to what the student needs help with. I have been taking French classes since I was 11 years old and have become very well-versed in the language, culture, grammar, and vocabulary.

I can teach French using total immersion techniques or vocabulary techniques. I use a lot of pictures in my lessons, flashcards, stories, games, and a lot of interactive activities like word searches, fill-in-the-blanks, and more.Most of my lessons are directed towards younger students (5-11) but they are able to be modified for students of all ages. I can work one-on-one or I can work with larger groups of students. Most of my lessons are interactive and I typically use Microsoft PowerPoint and hand outs as well.
