About ANALIA
I have a degree in Nutrition and I am a university professor of my career and I have a specialty in clinical-metabolic nutrition. The university where I have been working for 21 years is a state university, I have about 200 students (yes, as you read it). This is because the state university education is free. The subject I teach is Clinical Nutrition, I teach disease processes and therapy through food and nutritional management. But to teach this, I must know the normal functioning of our body and healthy eating; therefore there are other subjects that I can also teach: anatomy, physiology. I have been involved in teaching at the high school level. I designed the contents of a nutrition course for a university in Miami as well. I am a director and member of a thesis evaluation committee. I participate in courses, conferences and congresses as an assistant or lecturer. In addition, for 25 years I have been attending healthy or sick patients in a health center. I also teach them how to improve their eating and living habits. As you can see, all my professional practice in different areas is always in contact with people who require my knowledge and it is a pleasure for me to be able to support the needs of all.

In the classes, students actively participate both in the reception of the contents of the subject and in the construction of their own knowledge. As a teacher facilitator of learning, I will accompany them in the process. Different techniques are used such as discussion, case presentation, resolution with content creation, forum, plenary, among others depending on whether the class is individual or group. Technological and audiovisual resources are always used as support material and updated bibliography.
More than 20 years of experience as a university professor and active health professional make me a tutor with great expertise.
